Welcome to Reno Open Studios
Reno Open Studios is Northwestern Nevada’s window into the creative worlds of a plethora of incredibly talented visual artists.Our mission is to provide a unique way to profile the visual artistic culture offered in our area while learning about ourselves and others.
Reno Open Studios is a unique opportunity to visit the artist’s studios and see them work. You’ll learn what inspires them, witness their techniques, and be stimulated by their passion for the creative process.
The first annual Reno Open Studios tour kicked off in 2009 with 21 local artists. This year’s tour features 45 talented artists in locations all over the Reno/Sparks area. The tour includes a myriad of art including oils, acrylics, watercolor, decorative gourds, jewelry, textiles, bronze, photography, woodturning, metal sculpture, glass and glass blowing, clay, printmaking, ceramics, and even a forensic artist.
